I'm pretty happy with it although there are some issues. The blimp is moving too fast, some of the people look like they are leaning backwards, and several elements are missing. (Live actors up close, more digital people, a car, several blimp like ships and the like. But it's working!
This is beautiful, man! I love how far it's come... From a photo! Just wow! I do agree with some of the bugs your working out, but it's looking awesome so far! And I love the movement on the trolley at it turns and sways a bit.
The blimps motion/speed doesn't bother me. It adds to the fantasy element. I wouldn't get too carried away with trying to be so 'real'. Is a MOVIE. :) Its an alternate reality and little things help make it feel 'fantastic'. I think that feeling is important.
While I agree in general, in this particular case the prop speed vs. the blimp speed doesn't work, I think. It does have to exist in a universe with real people so the physics have to be in the ballpark. Never fear, it's only a little slower. :)

ReplyDeleteWow man!!
ReplyDeleteI like how the people walk - is that due to a different gravitational pull? ;)
