Here is the third ship. I based it roughly on a model ship I found online. One of the great things about cardboard and hot glue is how easy it is to change; I realized my initial attempt was too wide and the rear of the boat was too thick. So, I just took out the scissors and chopped it up, re hot glued it and then put more paint on it.
Wow, that's cool! I didn't know cardboard could be made to look like that.
ReplyDeleteFAN-FRICKEN-TASTIC! Love it, sir! Do you have a link to the ship it was based on?
ReplyDeleteThanks, guys!
ReplyDeleteSommat like this. I've found a few other great images, but it's hard to make dragons out of hot glue. So the ends are a little simpler. I also made the ship a lot bigger, because this location is out in the middle of nowhere and the smaller viking ships couldn't travel so far. ;)
