What with the holidays and all, I haven't had a lot of time to build these things. I just started up again, and the fore deck of this ship is huge- easily the size of that smaller schooner, and this is just the front. Two more pieces of the hull to build.

Very nice detail. Wow. I hope half of that detail comes across on video!
ReplyDeleteWell, it almost doesn't matter- The shapes the thing. In fact, for a couple of shots, I'm just going to have a foreground and a background cut out of cardboard- no detail at all. The reason I need these three dimensional ones is for the actual descent, and the drag. Probably the ascent as well.
